WE LOVE: Think Thin Bars

As we have jolted into 2013 and are feverishly making our New Years resolutions and goals for 2013, naturally "operation hotter body" always comes to mind. One of my personal goals is to be more realistic with myself and give some attainable tighten up goals. A crazy fad diet isn't going to work, surviving off of ice cubes won't work, I need great flavor to get my party started!

Arizona Costume Institute // Phoenix Art Museum Fundraiser

Has anyone heard of Phoenix Art Museum's group Arizona Costume Institute? I just joined last year and we have such a fantastically amazing group of people, our meetings are so inspiring, and I always learn something at the incredible lectures the museum puts on! As a member of the Phoenix Art Museum's Costume Institute, I always make it a point to attend the opening receptions of any new feature or show the museum is hosting! The Sea, is no different! I can't wait to see what they have up there sleeve! Maybe it's my longing to be near the water lately but I am captivated by the stunning inspirational photos and what a A list lineup, no? So many fantastic local events for next month's First Friday!

Have you guys heard of The North Face's new high end "Purple Label" line yet? I am loving the southwestern ikats and chevrons of their Kilim collection. They are offering a wide range of waist packs, (the new fanny pack for those not up to date on fanny packs ;), backpacks, ipad cases, and hiking bags. Loving the textiles they've used! As soon as I am a regular outdoorswoman perhaps I could justify the few hundred dollar price tag of one of these babies! For now, the only purchasing option I can find for this exclusive line is ebay. Be still my heart.
